Meaning of the Name
The area is called 'Gubyeoul' (the Korean name for Jetan) because the river's winding flow resembles the shape of a horseshoe. Gubyeoul is also celebrated as one of the 'Eight Scenic Views of Sacheonjang' for its beautiful landscape.
